End Period
"Poverty"
A recent study conducted by Always Feminine Products revealed that since the COVID-19 pandemic, 1 out of 3 young women do not have access to monthly sanitary products. This ongoing inability to afford period products is a growing challenge known as Period Poverty. This unfortunate social reality, causes our young women to miss school, and extracurricular activities and in the long term, erodes their self-confidence and dignity, inhibiting them from reaching their full potential.
Always® has championed girls’ confidence for over 35 years and donated more than 35 million pads since the start of their #EndPeriodPoverty campaign. In Barbados, Bryden Stokes, distributor for Always, has now championed the cause and we need your help.
Plus, look for the blue Always® bins labelled #EndPeriodPoverty in supermarkets and convenience stores across the island, make your donation of Always® Sanitary napkins and show our young women that they are supported.
