Chateau de Berne Estate Rose

Chateau De Berne Estate is a handcrafted rosé that fi rst and foremost stands on its own as a fantastic wine. Grapes are harvested at night from The Core vineyard block that sits at 1000 ft higher than the rest allowing for longer ripening and a harvest that happens 3 weeks later than anywhere else on our estate. With 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, an annual rainfall of between 20-30 inches and 50 windy days per year therefore providing an environment particularly conducive to sustainable wine growing. The cool evenings of the northern part of the valley ensure slow and optimal grape ripening.
